How to use this calculator:
- Choose your date of birth.
- The second date is today. Change it to find the age on any other day.
- Read the age in years, months and days, the totals, the weekday you were born and the next birthday.
How it counts. Age is counted in whole calendar dates, never clock times, so time zones and daylight saving cannot change the answer. Months are counted from the birth date; a date that does not exist in a shorter month moves to that month's last day. If you were born on 29 February, your birthday is counted as 28 February in years that are not leap years.

Born 15 May 1990, measured on 31 October 2026
36 years, 5 months and 16 days. That is 13,318 days, and the next birthday, the 37th, is 196 days away on 15 May 2027.
Born 29 February 2000
On 28 February 2025 the age is exactly 25 years, because the birthday is counted as 28 February in common years.
Age on a past date

Frequently asked questions
Does the time I was born matter?
No. Only the dates count, so the answer is the same all day.
How are 29 February birthdays handled?
In years that are not leap years the birthday is counted as 28 February. Some places use 1 March for legal purposes, so check the rule that applies to you.
Why might another calculator differ by a day?
Calculators handle month ends in different ways. This one moves to the last day of a shorter month.
Is anything sent to a server?
